Imperum, the autonomous security operations platform that gives enterprises a single AI-driven SOC they can trust and audit, has raised a seed round led by European AI investor Curiosity VC, which joins as a strategic investor and partner.
Founded by a team combining deep cybersecurity engineering, platform architecture, and global go-to-market experience, Imperum provides a single autonomous operations layer for the SOC. Its persistent AI agents reason continuously over live telemetry, MITRE ATT&CK logic, and forensic data to detect threats, investigate incidents, execute response, and reconstruct forensics autonomously, escalating to human analysts only when policy or judgment requires it. The platform eliminates missed detections, compresses detection and response from weeks and hours to machine speed, and frees analysts from the alert fatigue that has defined security operations for years.
Already deployed by MSSPs, banks, telecoms, and regulated enterprises across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond, including Digital-AG , HalkBank, King College Hospital and Bank of Africa, Imperum has built its platform alongside the security teams it serves. It is the only vendor named both a Leader and an Outperformer in the Innovation/Platform Play quadrant of the GigaOm Radar for SecOps, across eighteen global vendors.
Senad Aruc, founder and CEO of Imperum, said: "A modern SOC can face thousands of alerts a day, triaged by hand across SIEM, SOAR, and a stack of disconnected tools. It's slow, it's expensive, and the real threats still slip through the queue. Our platform puts persistent AI agents on that work, detecting, investigating, and responding at machine speed, while our customers' analysts stay in control of the decisions that matter."
Security operations are entering a phase of rapid, AI-driven change. The way enterprises detect and respond to threats will shift fundamentally. Within five years, the SIEM, SOAR, and humananalyst model that has defined the SOC for two decades will give way to autonomous operations. AI will take over the manual detection, investigation, and response work that overwhelms teams today, leaving professionals to set policy, exercise judgment, and focus on the threats that genuinely demand human attention.
Maurice Beckand Verwee, Managing Partner at Curiosity VC, added: "Enterprises need security operations that scale with the threat, not with headcount. Autonomous, auditable SecOps is becoming mission-critical as attack surfaces expand and skilled analysts stay scarce. Imperum is building exactly that. Its agentic architecture fits the way security, compliance, and legal teams actually work, and it solves a structural problem the industry has spent years trying to patch with more tools and more people."
This seed round is the first stage of Imperum's broader financing plan. With it, the team will accelerate international go-to-market, expand the commercial organisation, deepen MSSP partnerships, and bring autonomous SecOps to more enterprises, MSSPs, and regulated industries across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
